About our Seed quality & pricing
Germination and seed quality is the highest focus here on the farm. Each season I collect fresh seed & this differs from other seed sellers as they buy in seed in bulk and count out seed with a machine into packets.
With fresh seed just a few months old gives the sower a huge leap in success for germination! Especially perennials, as they need to be sowed soon after their seed setting season.
This is why I choose to offer seed thats so different to other sellers and this carries through with high quality results in my strong fresh seed!
With the time dedicated to sort through seed and pick out individual mature seed, this is reflected in my price. As it takes 3 months to sort and package your fresh seed ready to purchase.

All of our seed is open-pollinated right here on the farm — with the bees doing all the busy work.
They naturally cross-pollinate between flower varieties, creating seed that’s both true to it’s parent and also beautifully unique with new genetic’s each season.
That means each plant you grow holds it’s own special character, while still reflecting the qualities of the original.
